Which achievement at Quooker are you most proud of? “Ten years ago, I started as an internal service employee, where I immersed myself in all the processes in and around service. While doing that, I noticed I got a lot of energy from analyzing processes and proposing improvements. I kept developing myself in this area, and my ambition to take the next steps grew. When Salesforce was introduced at Quooker in 2019, my knowledge of service processes proved very valuable. My role kept expanding, eventually leading me to move from Service to IT—and now I’m even an Application Manager. I’m also proud of restructuring the picklist within the Salesforce environment. It may seem simple, but it was actually very complex. But we made it happen!”

What is the most challenging application you’ve worked with? “That’s definitely Salesforce! The challenge isn’t what Salesforce can’t do, but rather making the right choices—because in Salesforce, almost anything is possible. That’s what makes the work interesting: balancing the value a change or addition brings against the effort required to implement it, and the consequences it has for the organization. That last part gives me a lot of energy, but also presents a challenge, because you need to explain it clearly across all levels of the company.”

How do you stay up to date in your field? “Salesforce proactively keeps me informed about new and discontinued features. I update and improve my skills through Trailhead, where I learn new things and earn certifications. I also share my challenges with the Salesforce community to find solutions together.”
