Product Engineer

  • On-site
    • Ridderkerk
  • Research & Development

Job description

You’re perfect for Quooker because you…

  • work in a highly structured and analytical way

  • do not let go until things are truly finished

  • collaborate effectively across teams and clearly communicate technical changes

As a Product Engineer, you are the engine behind the improvement of our existing products. You initiate, analyse and implement technical changes, and translate challenges into smart, well-considered design modifications. In doing so, you work independently and take responsibility for finding the best solution. You always do this with an eye for functionality, performance, manufacturability, costs, quality, and compliance.

You oversee the impact of changes on the entire process, from product and production process to supply chain and service. You ensure that everything is correct before it is implemented. Working closely with teams such as Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Service, you bridge disciplines and ensure that everyone is aligned with the chosen solution.

In addition, you delve into production and field issues and tackle them at their core. You analyze, calculate, and translate issues into structural improvements in the design. In doing so, you do not opt for the easiest route, but for the solution that genuinely improves the product.

You design and optimize components and assemblies, manage technical specifications in the PLM system and ensure that all changes are recorded accurately and completely.

What can you expect from us?

  • A culture where you are at the center, because we’re not afraid to show appreciation and give feedback, so you always know where you stand.

  • We invest in your development through training programs and tailored coaching.

  • Hybrid working means 4 days at our office in Ridderkerk and 1 day from home.

  • A unique work environment where you see your ideas come to life in practice.

  • Working with a sustainable product and recycling old products (tip: check out the Op Stoom podcast episode about our challenges in circularity).

  • Fresh fruit every day and healthy, affordable bites in our company restaurant.

  • Drinks, outings, and parties to enjoy together.

  • A vitality program and a sports allowance of €25 per month.

  • 27 vacation days, plus the option to buy 10 extra days each year to help you stay energized.

  • A great employee discount so you can experience the convenience of a Quooker at home.
