As a Technical product manager at Quooker, you take the lead in developing and improving the Reservoirs product group; the heart of our boiling water systems. You decide what is needed to improve products in terms of quality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency, or when products should be phased out. You make sure those improvements are successfully delivered.

You translate strategy into clear technical objectives and actionable assignments for development teams. By identifying opportunities and bottlenecks at an early stage, you provide direction through impact analyses and well-founded prioritization. You define and prioritize product changes and development initiatives, ensuring clear requirements, aligned decision-making, and a consistent focus on customer value throughout the process. At the same time, you translate product and project demands into realistic capacity requirements.

Within your product group, you maintain a complete overview of all ongoing changes and understand their implications for design, the supply chain, planning and capacity. You bring structure to complex situations, make well-considered decisions and set clear priorities. This enables you to constantly strike a balance between innovation, reliability and manufacturability.

Working closely with R&D teams such as Systems, Electronics and Mechanics, you collaborate effortlessly with both internal and external stakeholders. You ensure that everyone has access to the correct technical information and naturally become the recognized expert within your area of expertise.

About your team

At Quooker, seventy colleagues in the Research and Development department are working on the development of the Quooker. The Product Management team is part of the R&D team and consists of five talented colleagues. The department also comprises the Innovation, Mechanics, Projects, Systems, Electronics, Verification, Expertise and Products teams.

• You have a relevant completed bachelor’s or master’s degree, in a technical field such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, or (Industrial) Product Design.

• You have experience in a technical product environment, for example as a product manager, product owner, project leader, systems engineer or lead engineer.

• You have strong communication skills and are able to bridge the gap between different disciplines.

• You have experience in making decisions based on impact, risk and priority, and you are decisive.

• You switch easily between detail and the big picture, and always keep the wider context in mind.

• You work in a structured manner and know how to set priorities in a dynamic environment.
