Job description
With your fresh perspective, you will explore new technologies that will prepare our Quookers for the future.
You are curious about how our product works and how it breaks.
You enjoy testing a technology in our product with our expert team and the available equipment.
With an internship in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering, you will join the verification team in the R&D (Research & Development) department. This team is responsible for developing tests and test equipment for the latest product innovations. Our assignments usually focus on sensors, actuators, and measurement & control technology. We naturally take into account the requirements of your education for the assignment or research. We will work with you to identify your interests and how they align with our research directions. You will be guided by experienced colleagues working in the field for which you are being trained, and often they have completed the same education as you.
Quooker has various workshops with extensive prototyping and testing facilities. We also have a wide range of sensors to test the products and analyze how they work. The young and dynamic team is ready to support you during your internship!
What can you expect from us?
You will receive €600 gross per month for a full-time internship.
A laptop.
A nice workplace in Ridderkerk or in our HUB in Eemhaven in Rotterdam.
One day of remote work per week is possible, if it fits well with the tasks of that week.
We have our own canteen where you can enjoy affordable, fresh sandwiches and salads daily. For vitamins, you can grab fresh, free fruit every day!
Multiple vitality activities per week, right after work, that you can participate in for free. Think of yoga, boot camp, padel, or a Bob Ross painting workshop.

Job requirements
You are an HBO or WO student in the field of Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering.
You are independent in carrying out assignments and taking initiative.
You have a technical hands-on mentality.
Experience with SolidWorks is a plus.
You are looking for an internship for 4 to 6 months starting in September 2026.
