You’re perfect for Quooker because you

  • Through your analytical approach, you enhance the quality, consistency, and reliability of data, enabling better decision-making.

  • With your ability to connect stakeholders, processes, and data, you help drive a more data-driven organisation.

  • By governing data definitions, standards, and KPIs, you strengthen trust in the organisation's most critical data assets.

At Quooker, we believe that high-quality data is essential for growth, innovation, and informed decision-making. As a Data Management Specialist, you play a key role in further professionalising our data landscape. You ensure that data is reliable, consistent, and fit for purpose, enabling the organisation to work in a truly data-driven way based on clear definitions, standards, and quality principles.

You work closely with colleagues across different disciplines and act as the connecting link between business, processes, and data. In this role, you analyse datasets within Microsoft Fabric, develop methods for measuring data quality, and translate insights into tangible improvement initiatives. You monitor progress, make results transparent, and ensure that improvements demonstrably enhance the quality of our most critical data assets.

In addition, you are responsible for maintaining and continuously improving data and KPI definitions. You advise business analysts and other stakeholders on data standards, governance, and data quality matters, while ensuring that policies, guidelines, and agreements remain up to date. Through your expertise, trust in data grows and the organisation’s overall data maturity continues to evolve.

Beyond identifying improvement opportunities, you are skilled at building engagement and support across the organisation. You can translate complex data-related challenges into clear and actionable insights for a variety of audiences and help teams embed data quality as a structural part of their daily ways of working.

You will become part of our Data Competence Center, where you will collaborate with experienced architects and data & analytics engineers. Within this environment, you will have ample opportunity to exchange knowledge, further develop your expertise, and actively contribute to the continued growth of data management at Quooker.

What can you expect from us?

  • A culture where you are at the center, because we’re not afraid to show appreciation and give feedback, so you always know where you stand.

  • We invest in your development through training programs and tailored coaching.

  • Hybrid working means 4 days at our office in Ridderkerk and 1 day from home.

  • A unique work environment where you see your ideas come to life in practice.

  • Working with a sustainable product and recycling old products (tip: check out the Op Stoom podcast episode about our challenges in circularity).

  • Fresh fruit every day and healthy, affordable bites in our company restaurant.

  • Drinks, outings, and parties to enjoy together.

  • A vitality program and a sports allowance of €25 per month.

  • 27 vacation days, plus the option to buy 10 extra days each year to help you stay energized.

  • A great employee discount so you can experience the convenience of a Quooker at home.

About your team

The Business Intelligence & Information Management (BI & IM) team consists of a BI & Information Management Manager, six Business Analysts, and a Data team (consisting of a DCC Team Lead, two Data / BI Specialists, and a Lead Data Engineer). Together, you are responsible for Quooker’s digital transformation and the solid setup of the IT and data landscape and related processes.

The team works closely with the IT department, internal stakeholders, and external partners. In practice, the BI & IM department acts as the linking pin between the business and IT (partners), translating functional requests into working solutions and processes.

What do we expect from you?

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree level (or equivalent), preferably in business information management, computer science, business analytics, data science, or a related field.

  • Experience with data governance, data quality, data definitions, and/or KPI management.
