As an Accounting Employee, you are responsible for the accounts payable and accounts receivable administration for our UK and Ireland markets, making sure everything runs smoothly. You process purchase invoices, prepare payments, monitor outstanding receivables, and ensure bank transactions are recorded accurately.

When you spot a discrepancy, payment issue, or missing information, you investigate the cause and resolve it. Along the way, you work closely with customers, suppliers, and colleagues in the Netherlands, the UK, and Ireland. You also prepare payment runs, process expense claims and customer refunds, and support your colleague with journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.

There is plenty of room to challenge existing processes, identify improvements, and make a real impact.

About your team

You will join a Finance team of 15 colleagues across Business Control and Accounting. Business Control provides the business with financial insights, reporting, and analysis. Accounting is responsible for the day-to-day financial administration of our national and international markets. In this role, you will be part of our UK Accounting team: a team of three colleagues responsible for supporting Quooker's financial operations in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

• You have an MBO-level education or equivalent working and thinking level in Finance.

• You have experience in a financial administration role and are looking for a position with broad responsibility.

• You are fluent in Dutch. Is your English good enough to communicate confidently, both spoken and written, with our international colleagues? Great. We don't expect perfect English. If you're eager to develop further, we'll gladly support you with training.

• You are based in the Netherlands.
