This is what you’ll do as an International Service Development Specialist

What makes this role unique is the combination of product development and international service improvement. As International Service Development Specialist, you influence how future Quooker products are designed while also improving the way we provide service today.

You are the key link between International Service and R&D. You bring the experience of our international service organisations, service engineers and customers directly into the development of new Quooker products. You translate their needs into clear requirements and challenge designs from a service perspective. The result of your work is tangible: products that are easier to diagnose, maintain and repair.

You work closely with R&D, Product Management and Quality and contribute to design reviews, testing and product launches. You ask the right questions and help teams consider serviceability, diagnostics, standardisation and lifecycle impact when making product decisions. You also help ensure our international service organisations are ready to support new products when they enter the market.

Alongside your role in product development, you lead international service improvement projects. For example, you could work on improving spare-parts visibility and supply or digitalising installation instructions across our international markets. Future projects may focus on service tools, processes and digital solutions. You bring the right stakeholders together and take projects from idea to implementation.

By combining service data and feedback from the field with your understanding of product development, you identify recurring issues and turn these insights into improvements to both our products and the way we provide service internationally.

About Quooker’s International Service team

You are part of our International Service organisation and report to the International Service Director. Within Service Innovation & Serviceability, you work closely with R&D, Product Management, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, IT and our international service organisations.

You understand both the technical side of a product and what it takes to service it in the field. You don’t need to be the engineer designing the product, but you are technically confident enough to challenge decisions, ask the right questions and translate service needs into clear requirements.

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Business Administration, Product Development or a comparable technical field.

• You have 3-5 years of experience in a technical service, product development or service engineering environment.

• You understand product development processes and preferably have experience with New Product Introduction (NPI).

• You are comfortable working with technical specialists and can influence stakeholders across different departments and countries.

• You can independently lead improvement projects from idea to implementation.

• You are analytical, practical and curious about connected products, diagnostics and digital service solutions.

• You communicate confidently in English.
